Seeds of Wisdom from the Good Tree Institute is a 9-part series of weekend retreats designed to convey a comprehensive understanding of the 30th Juzu’ (section) of the Holy Quran, which contain Surahs (Quranic Chapters) embodying a thematic principle. This spiritual retreat is an opportunity to come away with an understanding of basic foundational teachings of the Quran with the ability to critically reflect upon profound ideas such as the purpose of creation, how we view ourselves, and our role in society.
The series of retreats deliver a complete road map for life and will allow retreaters to spiritually recharge, reconnect to God, and discover a newfound ability to relate to the Quran in a deeply personal way.
Backed by 20+ years of teaching experience, Dr. Nadia Katrangi, Good Tree Institute Chairman and head instructor, will lead the group in an engaging, interactive style, and connect to the Quran from a linguistic, scholarly, and historical perspective with an overarching objective to highlight the relevance of the Quran in the context of current times.
The peaceful retreat facility of Spirit in the Desert is designed as a sacred space, is all-inclusive, calming, and a peaceful place to spiritually recharge and relax while connecting to God and each other.
