The festive buffet brunch offers an array of delightful breakfast breads and pastries to tempt your palate; an exquisite and colorful seafood selection; a exceptional meat carving station; and all the brunch side dishes you’d expect with astonishing flavor profiles you’d never expect. And the lineup of desserts… oh, my goodness! Each meal comes with a complimentary glass of sparkling cider.
This year, Mother’s Day brunch ($30, $10 for ages 4-12) is being offered May 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Spirit’s recently renovated dining room. Dine indoors or outdoors. We regret the Afternoon seating option is no longer available.
Spirit in the Desert’s spacious dining room is located in the heart of the retreat center campus. Follow the signs to the Richard Andersen Gathering Place. Two parking lots service the retreat center ~ free parking available via Elbow Bend Road or Bloody Basin Road.

- Breakfast All Day, including Eggs Benedict, Nutella waffles, Breakfast meats and Fresh fruit
- Carving Station featuring whole roasted New York strip loin with all the trimmings
- Entrees including Seafood cioppino, Chicken enchiladas, Sustainably sourced fresh salmon with sundried tomato pipián, Stew, Turkey tetrazzini, Shrimp tacos and other surprises from the kitchen
- Sweet and Savory Breads including Sundried tomato flatbread, Danish pastries, croissants and muffins; plus Gluten free options
- Classic and Whimsical Sides including Rice and potatoes various ways, Crunchy vegetable salad, Classic Waldorf salad and Watermelon jicama salad
- Desserts All Day with Carrot cake, Chocolate brownies, Fruit pies, Tiramisu and a Sundae bar
