Felecia Boone is vice president of the Minneapolis Area Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and a member of the synod’s racial equity committee. She also serves on the core leadership team for the 2024 Multicultural Youth Leadership Event. Ms. Boone has spent 30 years in local government and is currently a senior diversity, equity and inclusion consultant, which includes supporting diversity and inclusion committees, administering mentoring programs, providing employees with content in support of organizational mission and values, and investigating workplace discrimination complaints. She recently completed a Master of Arts in leadership from her alma mater, Wartburg College, and is a proud member of the college’s board of regents. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, supporting the Minnesota United Football Club and shopping for unique clothes, jewelry and shoes.
