April 24-26, 2017: Exploring Transitions Retreat: “Life’s Detours & Road Blocks”

Led by Tammy Devine & Tom Morgan, with worship/music by Michael Larson

Exploring Transitions retreats are a part of our 3rd Chapter of Life “Explore Your Life’s Calling” ministry. They are for those who are either nearing or currently living in their 3rd Chapter of Life–which is not necessarily a defined age category — and who are seeking exploration and guidance in their times of transition.

Each of the retreats offer the rhythm of liturgy that includes music, scripture, poetry, time for individual and small group reflection within a sacred, safe space. Participants are invited to pause, listen and gain clarity. Whatever your transition, come away to the desert to listen, discern and connect with God and others in transition.  Consider coming early or staying on for time  to rest and renew.

April 24-26 retreat: “Life’s Detours & Road Blocks”  Detour ahead. Road closed. Throughout life’s journey, we  encounter unexpected turns in direction: illness, loss of loved ones, change of work and opportunity. A loss of direction is disorienting. Together, we will explore this time of transition.

Other upcoming Exploring Transitions retreats:

Winter: Feb 13-15, 2017  “True to Myself”
Summer: May 23-25, 2017  “Living Well”
Autumn: November 9-11, 2017 “Crossing Over”

“By serendipitous, but most fortunate, circumstances, I attended the Life Transitions four part series, where the gifted facilitators guided me deeper into the calling of my legacy-making years. Spirit of the Desert is my go to place for rejuvenation of spirit.”   —Testimony from Sunday Larson, Sedona, AZ
